Nestled near the lively pub where I performed, this art deco hotel offers a mix of nostalgia and contemporary convenience. Our family room was spacious, accommodating two adults and two teenagers comfortably. The room's cleanliness stood out, with fresh bedding and towels, though the decor felt reminiscent of the '80s, reflecting the building's age. The staff were friendly and efficient, providing a warm welcome upon check-in. They promptly informed us about parking arrangements, which added to a smooth experience. While certain areas require renovations, the hotel's unique character and the charming staff somewhat offset these shortcomings. This could detract from the hotel's charm and negatively impact the community. It was a memorable stay, but the future remains uncertain.
